My favorite show is about to start up again, a week from Friday. If anyone is looking for a show to watch I recommend this one whole-heartedly.

As clever as a 4 year old
Tonight at bed time Colby brought out the big guns. He said, "Daddy, Water and Milk make me wake up, and Juice makes me sleepy".
Did you get it?
Some of my other favorites are, "Daddy, I'm too scared." That is his line when he doesn't want to do something. I'm too scared to put those shorts on. I'm too scared to go to church, it is very scary. I can't lay in my bed I'm scared.
I know there are a ton more out there, but can't think of them....

It's Already the End of July???
This month has flown by. In one week we'll be on a plane to Boise!! We can't wait to spend some time in Idaho with our family and friends. I would love to move back. I think I've been saying that since the day we left. I think I was crazy to want to leave, but it has been a great experience and we've made friends for life, so I know our move to Texas was important. Over July 4th weekend we went to Corpus Christi, the kids got to swim in the ocean and get stung by jellyfish. I got stung about 10 times, not fun. We finally realized what to look for and realized it was time to leave, because they were everywhere. Then on the 4th we had our ward breakfast and the Schertz parade woo-hoo.....still didn't compare to parades I grew up with. It was still fun for the kids. Then we went to the Circus with our friends Melanie and Brad, their little boy Bryson is Colby's best bud, and they have a little girl 2 or 3 months older than Lilia. I was expecting this AWESOME show, but the only animals they had were the elephants and tigers, and the tigers weren't even that impressive. The 7 motorcycles driving around in a huge metal ball was pretty cool though.
This month we also went to the zoo, Colby and Eva are taking swim lessons, Jason's been driving a LOT, sold and bought some stuff on craigslist-including a Wii! Last night we went to the temple (we missed our session by a couple of minutes and did initatory-which neither of us have done since the first time, over 6 years for me and 11 for Jason, I LOVED it!) and dinner with our friends Steve and Janae. Janae was my first visiting teaching companion when we moved here, we started talking about Twilight, she invited me to go to the gym, and the rest is history. They're military and leaving for Hawaii in a month. I have to not think about it, it makes me too sad. I'm going to miss her A LOT. You know some people just make you feel comfortable? She's one of them, and she made me feel more at home in Texas than anything else.
Time to move on before I start crying......today is our sixth anniversary! I can't figure out how it's been that long, but it has. I can't even figure out how it's been a year since the last one! It's been a kind of stressful year with Jason's company downsizing drasticly, him having so much responsibility at work, and so much time in the car, then there is me going back to school and the primary presidency. But it's also been a great year. Our family is closer and stronger. I love Jason and all that he does for me and our family. Being away from all of our family just makes us depend on each other that much more. We got each other a Wii for our anniversary! Hah, romantic, right? I've been saying we need one forever and I found an amazing deal on craigslist, and that was that.
Now we're off to spend the anni with our kids at Sea World. More swimming! Yay! I'm hoping on the way home we'll stop at Costco so I can buy myself some flowers to put in a vase I bought on clearance at Target yesterday. I love any excuse to buy flowers.

Boom Goes the Dynamite
We saw this on Dave Letterman a couple years ago, then tonight I heard the phrase and remembered this. Hilarious, poor guy. But he made the phrase a sensation. After they showed this clip there was a collection of all kinds of sports people using "Boom goes the dynamite!"

Spin Baby, Spin
We were just at our friends' house for dinner and Lilia got a little loopy from being tired, that's what I think it was anyway. She was making all of us laugh by spinning around a bunch and falling down, then trying to stand up and falling down again. She loved the attention. Sorry about the not high quality video.
