Funny you should ask Leslie, because we were just at the park and I took some video of Lilia's first time ever on a swing to put on the blog. She's really developing her personality. She's still the sweetest thing ever, but she does not like to be ignored. That's the only time she gets really cranky. And she also has a little bit of stranger anxiety. At her doctor's appointment I was saying how she likes everybody, and then he took her from me and put her on the table to check her out and she started crying so hard!!! And at church I was going to let this girl sitting by us hold her and she got SO upset when I handed her over. That's pretty much it, but she isn't usually around people she doesn't know. At the daycare at the gym they all LOVE her. They say she's their easy one. The lead lady told me she was "fabulous." She's from England. (I don't know what that has to do with anything...I just watched the video and noticed you can't see Lilia very well and my voice is kind of annoying in it, so...sorry! :)

Funny picture of Colby and Eva playing Mario. Colby can make him run around, but that's about it. He's getting better at it though. Eva not so much. I'm sure it'll happen soon enough.

Extreme Sports, Drool, and Dora undies

I've been so bad about posting stuff lately. So here's a few things that have happened this week.

1st) Extreme Sports: Colby discovered the garage door. One day this week I was talking to Jason on my cell phone as I was going out to the car with the kids. I pushed the garage door opener and Colby was standing right in front of the door. All the sudden he is dangling like one foot off the ground!!!! I screamed, scared he was going to break his head open, but he just let go and dropped to his feet. I have a feeling Colby's going to be into all the scary sports....

2) Drool: Lilia has had a soaked shirt all week. She'll be perfectly dry and ten minutes later I come to pick her up and her shirt is soaked from drool. She got her second tooth through a few days ago. She has her usual chipper self almost all week. You'd never know she was teething otherwise.

3) Dora undies: About a week ago we were at Walmart or Target and I pushed the shopping cart past some Dora underwear. (Eva and Colby's new favorites are Dora and Diego.) Eva got sooo excited and kept talking about Dora undies, and she insisted Colby get Diego undies too. So, I used that motivation as an excuse for her to starting using the potty exclusively. We started that yesterday morning after we got home from the gym. So far she has only had two accidents-both yesterday. Today was totally accident free! Three pairs of underwear in two days?!! Is this for real? With Colby I think we went through 8 or 9 pairs the first day. So, as of now it's a success!

Today Jason went to disassemble a play set our realtor hooked us up with. So it was free, but how much is time worth? Jason was there for 8 hours taking it apart. I felt so bad for him....But life is going good.

We're all including our new nephew Asher & his mommy Crystal in our prayers. She had him today c-section almost a month early. I haven't gotten the full story, but they're both doing pretty well, except his lungs were a little underdeveloped. He had to be taken to a different hospital for specialized care and Crystal hasn't even been able to hold him, and won't be able to see him until she is released. Any extra prayers in their behalf would be appreciated. :)

We took the TV out of the playroom this week and had 3 days with NO shows! (At least until after the kids bedtime.) It was great. Colby and Eva were getting waaaaaay too attached to that thing.

I'm going to try to get a video of Colby hanging on the garage door and Lilia's teeth. (Maybe even a picture of Dora undies, hah.) That's our week in a nutshell.

Get to know Colby, Eva, & Lilia

(Eva is playing the drum on Lilia's back)
So on our family blog my mom suggested we put something about the grandkids so everyone can get an idea of what they're like. I put this on the fam blog and decided to put it on here too. Last night Jason and I just started asking the kids what their favorite things were after Colby rolled a pea to me and asked me what my favorite food was. When I answered him he said, "Okay, now roll it back to me." (He had to have learned that in nursery.) It was hard asking them though because Colby hurried to answer and Eva would always repeat whatever Colby said. We got some original answers though. I'll answer for Lilia.

Eva-monkey
Lilia-Quin

She doesn't like shots... :( and she was scared of her doctor! She's never scared of anyone!! Even a little bit scary old lady that held her at church on Sunday.)

Eva-"Special Treat" (that is what we call Starbursts)
Lilia-Not fruit! She doesn't like fruit! How weird is that? She always makes a face & spits it out when I try to feet it to her.

This video is from tonight, I thought it would be a fun way for you guys to see how good of friends Colby & Eva are. They love each other and almost never get sick of each other.

Poll Questions - Game Shows

It's been too long since we have had a poll question on the blog. Dana and I were watching TV last night and saw a funny, but dumb game show. Called "Hole in the Wall". Too hard to explain so go to FOX and look it up. But it made me think what is my favorite game show? But this could be a hard one to answer. Wheel, Price is Right, Deal or No Deal, Family Feud, Classic Concentration, Lets make a deal, Millionaire, Are you smarter than a 5th grader, the list goes on and on. Not to mention the amazing Ken Jennings in Jeopardy. But overall I have to say my favorite is...........Boise State Football. Oh wait, I got off track there. My favorite is.........oh, it is just so hard. How about..............."A brand new Car!!!"-The price is right(Bob Barker class, or Drew Carey funny awkward moments).
What is yours?
