Daylight Savings, What's That?

The kids were finishing up lunch, church started in 20 minutes. I had to run into the other room when I heard, "Oh crap!" from Jason. (He had just looked at his cell phone.) I had been on the computer earlier and it said 11:45. I knew it wasn't 11:45, so I just thought the computer was wrong. Turns out....it wasn't wrong, and we missed sacrament meeting.
Has that ever happened to anyone else?

Your Uncle Mitch forgot to change his clock and missed Sacrament Meeting (He was the assigned High Council speaker that day.) He walked in just as the concluding speaker was finishing up. The Bishop let him have another opportunity the following week.

Yes, as a matter of fact it happened to us. It was 8:25, or so we thought, we were hurrying and Colin looked at his phone. We were already late so we didn't hurry as much and missed sacrament. Then, the fire alarm went off in our building. Interesting Sunday. Glad to hear we weren't the only ones.

We were in Walla Walla for the weekend and realized we had to get my mom in law back for her plane take off in boise - she JUST about missed it, but didn't.

However... are your kids sleeping in now with time change?? Mine are and it is WONDERFUL!!!!! :)

and just thought I would tell you... I think about your upcoming visit ALMOST daily. I can't wait!!!!!!

(don't tell Jason, but I plan to kidnap you and the kids so you can't go back ;) )

Unfortunately, Valerie was ALL ABOUT springing forward so she kept bugging me about it so we changed the clocks at 10 pm Saturday. That was good because at "midnight" (which felt like 11) I insisted everyone go to bed. Asher got up at 7, which is so much better than 6 and we were all good for sacrament at 9. See, what you need is a small baby up multiple times ;-) and a tweenager wanting to rule the world and you will remember daylight savings ;-)

I LOVE the speaker missing a talk. THAT is funny.
