Little Funnies

Colby:
We were having playgroup and he was asking my friend Lisa what her kids' grandparent's names were. Then he wanted to ask her what her husband's name was. He must not know the word "husband" yet. So he says, "What's your...............Who's the one you love?"

Eva:
We rented Barbie in A Mermaid Tale for the second time from redbox yesterday. My kids obviously liked it the first time. Eva says, "When I grow up I want to be a surfer girl and a mermaid and a doctor and an adventure girl."

Lilia:
Lisa, same friend as before, has a 6 or 7 month old daughter named Lucy. My kids love Lucy and never leave her alone when we're around her. In her honor, Lilia named one of her baby dolls "Baby Lucy." There were two baby dolls on the kitchen counter and Lilia told me she wanted a baby. So I hold out the non-Baby Lucy doll. Lilia says, "No, I want Baby Lucy." So I give her the correct doll and ask, "What is this baby's name?" about the doll she didn't want. And my super adorable, sweetest daughter ever says, "Stinky Baby."

None of my grandkids are Stinky Babies, because they're the ones I love, even when they grow up to be everything.
Grandpa.

P.S. Nice post. See, now that was't so hard. Keep it up.

David just used to call them, before anyone had a baby, "Little Suckers." Thankfully Debby wouldn't allow that. Your kids are so funny!

Hahaha...Lori, I remember that. Dana, they are so cute! It's good that Colby recognizes that the husband is "the one" you love. You and Jason must be good examples. I hope Eva gets to be all of those things she wants to be. And Lilia...I can't believe her vocabulary. When I saw her 3 months ago she wasn't even talking!
