An Eva Milestone

My friend Tina and I went to dinner and a movie for our combined birthday celebration. When I got back in the car after the movie I had a message from Jason letting me know what I had missed while I was gone.
(Don't mind Jason's cinematography skills.)

We have loved Patty and Ernie's cul-de-sac. There are five girls and a boy that they play with for hours every week outside. So many of them know how to ride bikes sans training wheels and it has really motivated Eva. I am sad I missed it, but sooo excited for her. Earlier today she was saying how she wanted to learn to ride her bike tonight and she actually did it!! Yay Eva!!!!

yeah eva! i am very proud of you. did we ever tell you guys how becky came running in the house (on Rainier) one night and said, "I taught myself to ride my bike!". She was so excited. Leslie was equally upset, because she hadn't learned how yet. One of Leslie's most embarrassing moments. So outside we went, and they both learned to ride a bike on the same day.

That is awesome!! We have been working with Hallee forever to ride without training wheels and we end up putting them back on.

Proud of you Eva. But who I am really impressed with is Grandma Boise. I counted at least 4 laps up and down the street - very impressive for a grandma. Wish we could have been there to cheer it on.

Congrats on your new little girl. She is so beautiful. I'm glad you made it over to Boise safely, and closer to your family! Good luck with everything.
