She's been asking me for a few months to straighten her hair. I never wanted to, I'm not sure why. I just know I didn't want her to go to school with straight hair. I think her curly hair defines her, makes her stand out. It's summer break and we finally straightened it last night. It took forever and her hair is soooo much thicker than I thought it was, and so coarse. She's beautiful either way. I had to get a fro picture. Awesome. Grandma Boise just trimmed her hair, 2-3 inches, for the first time a week or two ago and it's still this long. Crazy.
