Little Things That Make it All Worthwhile

This morning Colby decided it would be fun to get Lilia's sippy cup of milk out of the fridge and shake it upside down from the kitchen, through the family room, and into the hall. He got in trouble, and I asked, "Why did you do that?" Of course he had no answer. Anyway...no time out or anything, just some talking to. About 15 minutes later, enough time had passed for him to forget he had even been in trouble, he comes up to me and says, "Mommy, I'm sorry I spilled milk on the floor."
I love my little boy.
This was his response to, "Smile for real."

I can't believe he said that. What I love about our kids is they can be so considerate of each other. If Colby gets milk, he makes sure Eva and Lilia have it too. If Eva gets a snack, he wants colby to have one too. What a great example for their little sister and parents.
