Oh my gosh, that makes me soooo sad! And so nervous, I have one of those in my back yard! Poor baby girl! What happened?! It is broken? Where? She looks like she is resting well though. Getting dressed is going to be fun :-(
Oh, that is so sad :( I'm so glad that she didn't have to have surgery on it. So were there bigger kids on the trampoline, or what? I was just telling Ray that I really want to get a tramp because the kids love it so much!
It's so wierd - I feel physical pain when I hear about one of our little ones being hurt. It has been like that since you kids were little. It feels so helpless to know one of them is hurt and not be able to do anything about it, but pray. And, that's not a bad option. I'm so glad Mom went back into the temple when she got the message and put Eva's name on the prayer roll, and so glad to now hear that the injury was not serious. Good news. Good blessings. Dad
It was just Eva, Colby, and a little 7 year old, and it was just the way she fell on it. Sarah (the 7 yo) told us that she was falling on her belly and her face hit her arm-we thought it was her face that was hurt at first. It broke right above the elbow. We had to go to Urgent Care because our pediatrician doesn't have an x-ray machine. The doctor there told us there was a possibility she might need surgery, and sent us a referral for an pediatric orthopedic doc-with instructions for her to not eat breakfast incase she needed surgery. I was totally freaked out and thought there was a good chance she'd need surgery since she wasn't supposed to eat breakfast. We got to the specialist at 10, they didn't see us until like 11:15-poor Eva was starving-but the news was good! She just had to have a cast put on, and it only has to be on 3 weeks. She's doing great with it. She's slept all night the last two nights. Dressing her is a pain though. That's why she's wearing one of Colby's short sleeved button up shirts in the picture. It's hard for her to stand up by herself, especially if she's laying down, but she really doesn't seem to mind the cast all that much.
She'll get used to it and be back to normal soon. You'll just have to do more things for her. 3 weeks isn't bad. I looked at the x-rays, and that doctor didn't have to scare you like that. We're glad she's okay. At least she has a cool color. My cast was white, at least for a couple days, then it was light tan.
OH DANA!!!!!!!!!! I just checked your blog - poor lil' Eva!!!!!!!!!!!! :( :( You know I just thought...is that the thumb she sucks? Emma would go nuts... How are you holding up??
Poor thing!! Love your new picture! I have always wanted to go on route 66! Is that where this car is at?? Love all your kids chubby little cheeks (super kissable)!!!

Poor little Eva. I hope she heals as fast as little Jack did.
Definitely rings a bell for me. Except it was our neighbor's swingset. I can't remember if they ever let me go play over there again after that.
