The Little Mermaid

Thursday night Jason was playing with Eva, dropping her onto the bed. Then she started crying and she said her arm hurt. :( Pretty quick I figured out it seemed something like the last time she broke her arm, she wouldn't calm down and nothing was making her forget her arm hurt. I'm sure it will never get easier, seeing one of my babies hurting. We went to the urgent care, same place as last time, but the doctor couldn't see a break, he even had a radiologist check it out. So they put her in a splint and the doc said to come back on Saturday and he would check her out to make sure she was okay.

Eva and I went back today, here she are in the patient room. She was feeling much better today.

(She wanted me to sing with her, but I told her I didn't know that song.)
Her arm is still swollen and it hurts her to bend at her elbow, so we've been referred to the pediatric orthropedic doctor, also the same as last time. Poor Eva. But there is an upside to it. This time she hurt her right arm, which is the hand she sucks her fingers on. So hopefully this will break that habit.

That's pretty much my favorite Little Mermaid song ever. It's right up there with the Diego song Jack sang for me while he played the matching tune on the piano.

Poor girl! I hope she keeps feeling better. You and your cute little family were in my crazy dream last night. I showed up at your house in my garments, which was perfectly normal of course, and then you husband made us yummy pasta for dinner. There were lots of other parts too, but of course I can't remember most of it and if I tried to explain it would make no sense at all, but just wanted you to know I had a dream about you. :)

If she had broken her ankles, then she could have a single cast for both, and then she really would be the little mermaid. Think of the possibilities. Whatever the case, she sings like and angel.

Thank is saddy, but she is one cutey pie. I see she and I enjoy the same brand of Fruit Snacks. They are pretty much the only thing I consistently buy at Cosco ;-)

Good luck to her and to YOU! mom!
