Then we watched the Schertz, TX 4th Jubilee parade---so not exciting. We figured out that morning that everything might be bigger in Texas (i.e. parades) but bigger is not always better. They didn't even throw out candy! What's up with that? The parade was full of city officals for 4 or 5 different cities in the area and boy scout troops! Anyway, the kids had fun...sort of. It just got too hot and we left before it was over. But we felt like we were on the main street in this little tiny town, not less than 10 miles out of San Antonio.

July 4th
For the 4th of July we had a biscuit and gravy breakfast with our ward. There was a sign-up up to bring 2 dozen breakfast burritos-there were about 14 dozen left over, haha. Weird combo for breakfast, I think anyway.

I was thinking how all of the pictures I post, my kids are practically dripping in sweat. It's hot here! But I think we're getting used to it. Well, Jason and I anyway.
Then we went and bought a little kiddie pool at Target for them to play in and they LOVE it!
And my favorites.....

Your favorites are my favorites, too! That picture of Eva going down the slide is hilarious! And the one with Colby going down the slide in the background is even funnier! Oh wow...I love it.
